Books:

While you are in the library we will have pulled a group of books for you.  The list of those books can be found on the catalog under Resource Lists, 1920s. Search the library catalog  by keyword for topics like racism, immigration, women. Then use the book index or table of contents to determine if the 1920s are covered in the book.

Good if you are looking for a specific topic/person e.g. Henry Ford or Vietnam War.  Difficult to search by decades.  Many pictures, maps, charts and primary sources.  MLA citations.

Student Username: student id number with .pusd after it

Student Password:  6 digit birthdate.  So if you were born May 5, 1998, you would type in 050598.

 

 

  • You might consider using World Book Online for its excellent primary sources. Login using the username and password on the back of your ID card.
  • EBSCO Discovery Search  (EDS) allows you to powersearch across all EBSCO and Gale databases.  You will need to use more specific keywords to narrow down your seach results in this megadatabase.
