Books:

Search the library catalog using the names of the decades e.g. 1940s or look for topics like racism, immigration, women.

Browse the 973s and 305s of both the nonfiction shelves and the reference room.

Databases:

• Our two history databases are provided by Proquest. They are the History Study Center and SIRS Decades (this database is ***** for this project). • You might consider using World Book Online for its excellent primary sources. Login using the username and password on the back of your ID card.
• Thomson-Gale databases allows you to do a PowerSearch across 4 databases at once. Narrow down your results by looking at the Subject headings or doing an Advanced Search with boolean logic. Login using the username and password on the back of your ID card.
